Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
Jasmin was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. She completed her undergraduate degree at Fordham University earning a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing in 2004. Upon graduating, Jasmin worked at an educational center for children which helped her find her true passion leading to the field of Speech Pathology. Jasmin went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA in 2008. After completing rigorous graduate coursework and clinical placements in both pediatric and adult based settings, Jasmin earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Jasmin has extensive experience in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation facilities, Early Intervention, and within the public school system. Jasmin has experience evaluating and treating children age 18 months to 20 years with a variety of diagnoses including receptive and expressive language, articulation, oral motor, feeding, and auditory processing disorders. Jasmin maintains clinical competency by attending professional conferences each year and has received training in Oral Placement Therapy, PROMPT, nutritional effects on the biochemistry of brain development, feeding intervention techniques and play and language development. Jasmin currently resides in Long Valley, NJ with her husband and son.
